22  August  2012       Express commemorates the donation of L.F. Gruber to Colgne Museums


On 22 August 1977 L.F. Gruber disponed the first part of his collection "Photographs of the 20th Century by Famous Photographers", consisting of 935 prints, to the Walraff-Richartz-Museum / Museum Ludwig. Through further donations, the collection consists of more then three thousands prints now.

19 August  2012       Birthday of Photography celebrated at Grubers Residence


19 August 1839 the patent describing the very first photograhic process was donated "to the world" by Frensch government and details announced in Paris. Round 40 guests celebrated this anniversary upon the invitation of Renate Gruber.
